Chat with Ramona and Beezus Stars!

Girl Scouts of the USA invites all Girl Scouts and their friends to join a live online chat with actors Joey King and Selena Gomez, stars of the upcoming movie, Ramona and Beezus, debuting in theaters July 23!

The webcast will take place on Wednesday, July 21 at 1 p.m. Central Standard Time. In order to participate, you must click on the following link a few minutes before the chat begins: http://www.walden.com/stream.

Joey King and Selena Gomez will talk about the film, which is based on the beloved book by Beverly Cleary. They will share a little about themselves and chat about how the movie's story correlates with the new Girl Scout Journey, It's Your Story-Tell It! (coming to Girl Scout shops this December). There will be time for questions from online participants but we highly encourage girls to submit questions now! Please send your questions by e-mail to Sabrina Sanchez at ssanchez@girlscouts.org by Tuesday, July 20.

Have fun and psych girls up by previewing the Ramona and Beezus movie trailer together at www.girlscouts.org/itsyourstory. Invite all of your friends to do the same!

We hope you can join us! To participate, click here on the date/time of the webcast.

PR Stars Helps Haley Gain Confidence...

This is Haley’s third year selling cookies and her third year as a PR Star! It is all she talks about. She was kind a quiet in her TV interview on channel 23 last year, but because of that experience, I saw her get on stage to sing and we could hear her! She even challenged other Girl Scouts to come up after her at the Relay for Life. I just wanted to let you know it is because she got to go on TV as a PR Star that she is now talking louder and with more pride in herself. Thank you for this gift!!
