PR Stars ROCK the Tulsa Shock!
PR Stars at the Tulsa Shock WNBA Game! |
Here are a few pics of our awesome PR Stars at a recent Tulsa Shock WNBA game. It was Girls Night Out, so our Girl Scouts had the opportunity to sign up and shadow different jobs before, during and after the game.
Our PR Stars could be seen working the lights, hanging with the Volt the Mascot, throwing out promotional tees, cheering on the crowd, helping players sign autographs, and much more!
You girls really made us proud!

PR Stars Helps Haley Gain Confidence...
This is Haley’s third year selling cookies and her third year as a PR Star! It is all she talks about. She was kind a quiet in her TV interview on channel 23 last year, but because of that experience, I saw her get on stage to sing and we could hear her! She even challenged other Girl Scouts to come up after her at the Relay for Life. I just wanted to let you know it is because she got to go on TV as a PR Star that she is now talking louder and with more pride in herself. Thank you for this gift!!

Haley Visits Fox Studios!
Haley joined Kathy Brandon on Fox News DayBreak Monday morning for a Cookie Kickoff interview! Haley did a great job answering all of Carrie Netherton's questions on her first visit to a real tv studio!
Haley had this to say:
"Thank you for today. Its my first time with lots or cameras and lights!!!! I really liked it and wish to try it again. It was really cool with all of the wires and things. I told them at school about the weather man and that he was not in front of a map. And that there was a camera that had had the words for them to just read off."
